because there are some beliefs are man made, like the doctrine made by constantine, 325 AD in the council of Nicea. but the bible teaches the right nature of Christ. and the bible was completed sometime in the first century.
let me explain to what is the real nature of Christ, the Christ is a man, and the basis why Jesus Christ cannot be a god.
Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Matthew 3:17), is the one and only Savior given by God (Acts 13:23). Christ is the sole mediator between God and men (I Timothy 2:5) and the only way to God (John 14:6).
But we do not subscribe to the belief that Christ is God-Man. He is man in nature according to His own testimony (John 8:40) and the teachings of His Apostles (I Timothy 2:5; Matthew 1:18).
The attributes of a human being were found in Christ. He hungered (Matthew 4:2), thirsted (John 19:28), became weary or tired (John 4:6), slept (Matthew 8:24), and died (Matthew 27:50; I Corinthians 15:3). However, Christ as distinct from all men, is the only one who did not sin (I Peter 2:21-22; Hebrews 4:15).
He has been exalted by God and given a name above all other names, that at the name of Christ every knee should bow, those in heaven, and those on earth (Philippians 2:9-11). He has been placed by God far above all principality, power, might and dominion, and every name that is named, and all things have been put under His feet (Ephesians 1:21-22). Christ will eventually subject all His power and authority to the true God (I Corinthians 15:27-28). He had in so many instances introduced Himself as the Son of God but never did He appropriate the title “God?nor “God the Son?for Himself because He is not God but man.
Instead, We believe that the one and only true God is the Father, the Creator. We hold this belief because it is the doctrine taught by our Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostles (John 17:3, 1: I Corinthians 8:6). God is a Spirit (John 4:24), and, therefore, He has no flesh and bones (Luke 24:39).
There is no trinity of persons in God. Though the Bible speaks of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, never does it refer to all of them as gods nor as three persons in one God; rather, it points to the Father alone as the true God. The Son Himself emphasized that only the Father is the true God (John 17:3, 1) and that He himself is a man telling the truth which He received from God (John 8:40). The prophets also teach that we have only one Father who created us (Malachi 2:10); Isaiah 64:4, 8). He alone is God, there is no other God and no one is like Him (Isaiah 46:9)
God is from everlasting to everlasting, with no beginning or end (Psalms 90:2), immortal (I Timothy 1:17), and does not tire or become weary (Isaiah 40:28).
He alone is the creator of heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things therein, and the seas and all that is in them (Nehemiah 9:6)

The Father (God), The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, is know as the Holy Trinity, they are all one in the same.
God created his son, Jesus, from his image, thus they are one in the same, and the Holy Spirit is sent to us from both the Father and the Son to guide us through our every day lives.
According to scripture:
"Just as the Father externally sent the Son into the world in time, the Son proceeds from the Father internally in the Trinity. Just as the Spirit is externally sent into the world by the Son as well as the Father (John 15:26, Acts 2:33), he proceeds from both Father and Son internally in the Trinity. This is why the Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of the Son (Gal. 4:6) and not just the Spirit of the Father (Matt. 10:20)."
Why people do not believe all in one concept... that is a 10,000,000 dollar question. Cultures all have their own beliefs, people stem off to create their own beliefs to justify their societies. This is .. as the old saying goes "what makes the world go round."
Hope I didn't confuse you.
EDIT NO. 1 - Mark1011 - please never make reference to a person as IGNORANT, when they are questioning or seeking answers to Christianity. Not everyone understands, and when they question you should try your best to answer in lay terms, and you should never put forth criticism.

Do not bother what others say if you are seeking for the truth. All can call themselves Christian but you can know whether they are one, including yours truly.
It is the same with other faith.
Christian believes that Jesus is the son of God. On Him as God you cannot understand unless you are of the Holy Kingdom.

I think people confuse the concept of Oneness.
conceptually, every human being is born to be One with the Creator.
Not in physicality and personality, but in spirituality. Following the Creators orders and avoiding the things He dislikes, one will gain a spirituality that makes one look like they are One with the Creators will.
This is what Jesus was. As all prophets of God were.
God does not give the burden of His message to those who can say: I and my God are not one (in spirituality and goals)
However, people are blind, and they rarely understand what Jesus meant. Hence, they think he meant he was God or son of God or what not.
How can a non human entity have a human son?
or
How can you find it appropriate in your hearts to say the Jesus was both God and human when being human means having to go to the bathroom and do all kinds of things that are natural but never theless lowly with regards to Gods presence.

You check for yourself what the BIBLE says about it. Here are a few;
John 14:28- where Jesus says the Father is greater than him
John 1:1 - shows that Jesus is not God, but is 'with God'. God is someone else, not Jesus. (I won't go into any details about Greek grammar, the sentence speaks for itself)
John Chapter 17- Jesus was praying to God (definitely not talking to himself!)
John 20:17- Jesus tells Mary Magdalene that 'her God' is also 'his God'. (Again, not he himself)
Mark 15:34- Jesus cried out to God, asking why He (God) had forsaken him (Jesus) (He obviously did not forsake himself!!!)
Matthew 3:17- God himself says Jesus is his SON
The very famous John 3:16 says Jesus is God's SON.
That's just a few examples, there's loads more. Many "Christians" do not really understand who Jesus really is, and that clouds their understanding of other deeper Bible truths. Do your research, the answers are there for the finding.

The scriptures are clear on this point.
Jesus was Almighty God's VERY FIRST CREATION.
(Proverbs 8:22-31) “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.
(Colossians 1:15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
(John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him.
Thousands saw Jesus.
Jesus now is a 'god', a spiritual person...but he is NOT ALMIGHTY GOD.
That one is JEHOVAH GOD, the ONE that Abraham and Moses dealt with.
(Exodus 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.
Jesus existed in heaven before he was born onto the earth, but was not known about.
although he WAS prophecied about.
(Daniel 2:44) “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;
Jehovah God has made Jesus, King of this Kingdom.
A government over men that will last.

Jesus is God in human flesh. He is not half God and half man. He is fully divine and fully man. That is, Jesus has two distinct natures: divine and human. Jesus is the Word who was God and was with God and was made flesh, (John 1:1,14). This means that in the single person of Jesus is both a human and divine nature. The divine nature was not changed. It was not altered. He is not merely a man who "had God within Him" nor is he a man who "manifested the God principle." He is God, second person of the Trinity. "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word," (Heb. 1:3, NIV). Jesus' two natures are not "mixed together," nor are they combined into a new God-man nature. They are separate yet act as a unit in the one person of Jesus. This is called the Hypostatic Union.

i belivie that jesus is the son of god and not god himself and some christian faiths tend to lean more toward jesus being god because he did mircales and cured the sick and was seen by many but he is'nt god and i belivie and always have belivied that jesus is the son of god and god is god and i agree with the fact that christian should belivie in one and there would'nt be so much fighting in this world but i guess then everyone would be prefect so my advice is belivie in what you belivie in and let everyone else belivie in what they want because no is right but god himself and we will all be judged the same way
