Great Question, but I think I've come in a little late to add much to the already great answers. However we are talking about our interpretation of God from books written by us. I suspect the real God has none of those human psychological disorders.

The god of the Bible? Insane egotistical murderous sadistic monster. Locked up. “The God of the old testomony is arguably the most unsightly personality in all fiction: jealous and happy with it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving administration-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic purifier; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” ? God is "Perfect Love" and perfect love casts out all fear, because fear has torment. Perfect love doesn't need a psychologist. Without fear, psychology is not needed.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love: but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.

Three (3) things man must have

1. Peace with God - Love God
2. Peace with others - Love others
3. Peace with himself - Love himself

Put God first and everything else falls in line. Don't need a psychiatrist.

Well the guy in the old testament is pretty messed up. Let's see, we'd find a serious anti-social disorder, sociopathy, neurochemical imbalance leading to severe fits of rage, schizophrenia, narcissism, paranoia, multiple personality disorder and of course, a god complex (thanks, windom)

No, hold on a second... God is the only one who could have a god complex and NOT be crazy! lol

He loves too deeply, and too freely. He gives everyone a chance to love Him, and asks nothing in return.
