Alas, my favorite kind of bread is the French baguette. The trouble is that it is only made in France. No bread like it in the world!

Here, I get a variety of breads from Meijer (surprisingly good bakery) and from a local store called 'Strawberry Fields' that make a decent American baguette.

Sourdough or just plain white. I hate dark breads.
