Is it cheaper to get it done from the builder as my house is under construction OR is it less expensive to get it finished later by some contractor.

Does anybody know whom I can get it done fom in New Jersey.

I have no knowledge about basement and construction so any tips and advice is greatly appreciated !
Thanks

If your house is under construction, right now, it is cheaper to get a quote from the present contractor.

A secondary contractor later will cost more, because he isn't making any money on the rest of the house. The present contractor will give you a much better price, due to the fact he is already there working, and has the manpower and resources on hand.

It probably would be cheaper to get it done while it's under construction, but you really need to make sure that your basement is completely and totally watertight, or you'll have big problems down the road.
