stuttering visual aids?

if a child has a stutter what are some visual aids (not electronic aids) or stratergies etc that would help the child to communicate more effectively?

Check out The Stuttering Foundation of America's web site at www.stutteringhelp.org as they have tips for things parents can do to help a child who stutters, brochures for teachers, online videos, books, referrals, and a list of libraries that shelve their books. They were a great help to our family.
