For me, I consider making eye contact during a conversation a matter of high respect. If someone decides they're going to make some little snide remarks, I won't look them in the eye. I look anywhere but at them, nod a little, and even throw in some eye-rolls. Not only does this let the person talking to me know that I'm annoyed with them, but it also shows that they don't have my respect. It usually gets them to shut up =D

It depends on the circumstances, but if they're obviously bitchy and the have no reason to be bitchy to you, I'd put it down to mental illness or perhaps they had a bad clam ;/

Their opinion isn't important to me, so I'd probably just look at them hard and keep going.

If I work or live with them, I'd probably ask them if I did something to warrant the attitude? No point in letting it complaints grow, if it's someone you must spend so much time with. Time can make stuff like this worse.

Talk it out, find out if you need to give her a smack and move on, LOL!

Depends on the comments. Usually I just make bitchy comments back.

Think of them as just leaving the psych ward, realize what the source came from and make a pleasant response. Eventually it will bother them. When we speak nicely to a person who is bitchy it's like pouring hot coals on their head, I'm not sure where that came from, the Bible I think. I just know, regardless of the time it takes, it works. They start to feel guilty because you are so nice to them.

Do you mean face to face or on Yahoo Answers or somthing else? If you mean online, I just figure that they have their own opinion and express it as such. I try not to get offended as they don't even know me. Maybe they are just unhappy or maybe they are really trying to stress their point in the only way they know how. Maybe they are having a bad day or you hit a nerve with them. Who knows? I don't think you should DO anything. Just ignore it.

just ignore them......keep this saying in u

''sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me''

those who do such disgusting talk, they havent got anything better todo.....sitting ther and talking abt others???.....WHAT IS THE POINT!!

becarefull in who you hang with....if you hang with some1 who is doing this act then tell them '' sorry i dont want to hear it''., but becarefull as well, dont include yourself in it, the best talk is the talk of giving knowledge or advice, not the talk of what you think about others or telling people others stories

becareful in what you say

dont be b****y back, it will be hypocrytical, be nice to her and if shes the same with out no reason, keep this saying in u

'' dont expect any gratitude from any1''

Look them straight in the eye and in a realy calm nice voice, say to them "that really hurt my feelings, why did you say that to me?". Then, sit back and watch her squirm why she trys to justify herself and will realise what an absolute biatch she is being. She won't do it again.
