To comment on the person who commented before I did---I feel you may be misinformed. Us, Catholics, do not believe in confessing our sins to anyone but God either...so there is nothing special about what you said except for repeating the same thing that we already know.

Now, I am sorry that almost everyone is giving you a hard time with your question--- I will attempt to clarify:

Skin to Skin, as you referred to it, falls under the sin of Lust. Lust is a sin. Unmarried or Married, it is a sin. Lust takes away from Love, and that is what God intended for us. Yes, its true, a man should not LUST after his wife, he should LOVE his wife. Same goes for an unmarried man/woman. They are not to lust after one another, nor dress or act in ways that will encourage others to lust after them. Now, when you are married, it is okay obviously to have sexual relations with your spouse, but again, out of love, not lust.

As far as confession-- We confess our sins to God. There is numerous Catholic sources I would be happy to provide if you wanted to know why there is a priest there too, but that wasn't your question. Through confession, God forgives you your sins...but remember, He knows the insides of your heart, and knows whether you are truly sorry or not, and whether or not you fully intend NOT to repeat this sin. It is true, there is no limit to God's forgiveness. He literally DIED to be with us once more, BUT, to sin with full knowledge that you could just go to confession and be forgiven creates for a much bigger sin. I would advise confession to one who truly, in their heart, wants to come before the Lord, wants to recieve forgiveness (Because He will always give it to those who are truly sorry) and if your true intent is to stay true to the Lord. Otherwise, a person is just treating confession, life, death, and eternal salvation as a game.

Hope this helped?

God Bless You :)

No, Horton, you are incorrect.

Confession is NOT a free license to sin, at all. It is a way of receiving forgiveness for your sins, but as a few others have answered, you must REPENT of your sins afterward, which basically amounts to not repeating your offenses.

The focus is rePENT, not rePEAT!!

Peace

No. It does not work that way. You cannot just sleep around with 2-3 different people every night and then confess. Yiu have no idea of how any of this works.

It is also dangerous. You can get numerous diseases. You'll also give other people diseases.

Morals are important.

"If we deliberately keep on sinning after a knowledge of the truth is obtained, there remains no more sacrifice for sins - only a fearful expectation of judgment and a raging fire that will consume the enemies of GOD." - Hebrews

With confession must come repentance - a genuine turning away from your sins.

Otherwise - you're just Bill Clinton!

If you 'repent' of a sin with the intention of doing it again and repenting again, you arn't repnting from the heart.
IMO those sins are not forgiven.

You have to make an honest effort to not doit again.

where do you get such questions from? are you into reading bible these days? sorry, but we muslims don't believe in confessions to anyone else apart from ALLAH. Even the PROPHETS(P.B.U.H) never asked people to confess their sins to THEM(P.B.U.H). go ahead, finish what you are reading, i'll get back to you when you start reading QURAAN
