It's mostly a matter of learning to ignore reality.
Hanging around other people who also falsely believe in clairvoyance is the most important thing. Then you also have to keep telling yourself that you've got abilities and learn to become indignant and utterly dishonest when someone points out that you're not able to demonstrate any.

I was taught by spirit to accept my abilities from birth and on, each year of my life seeing more and experiencing more. It was as natural as walking, nothing I learned or could teach someone else.
I think when you say clairvoyant-You are speaking of those who already posses the gift-If you need to know how to inhance or control it-only patience, understanding and acceptance can help. -Patience can come through meditations, and acceptance can happen through practicing the ability-by using it for good intent-purpose of helping others. Which could mean reading tarot cards using only intuition , thoughts in th emind-no books, or whatever it is they feel comfy doing.

Clairvoyance is a fairytale. It cannot be developed. People whom are clairvoyant are missing some basic psychological elements in their lifes and compensates by being "clairvoyants".

You have to learn to shut out the loud noise your own consciousness makes.

It's like trying to hear one person whispering (the universe trying to tell you stuff) in a room full of people talking loudly (your conscious mind babbling on). It's a matter of learning to filter out external stimuli, and make your brain shut the hell up and listen for once.

Except when it's like everyone in that room turns and shouts exactly the same thing at you. No mistaking those psychic experiences. It's like having a seizure.

They basically just learn a bunch of facts that are true about almost everyone as well as how to get information out of people without them remembering giving it.

They use a technique called cold reading. Some of them I suspect are sincere but deluded (i.e. they actually think they have powers when they are just cold reading without knowing) while others are frauds who know damn well that they're just cold reading.
