I understand that Jesus was local, in the flesh, so to speak. And I believe God is in heaven. The Holy Spirit can move around, so the question is really; Can God remove himself from a place completely, and leave no aspect of himself whatsoever?

God will always be in this universe, He is made up of spiritual matter and can expand and contract. The Man is in the center of this universe just as the biological cell He created has a control center. Nothing that exist can exit the universe and God does not expand to the end, because the universe has no end. God left the other planets.
