The simple definition of sin is the separation to God.
Total separation lies in the realm of voidness - that is, hell.

God will always be in this universe, He is made up of spiritual matter and can expand and contract. The Man is in the center of this universe just as the biological cell He created has a control center. Nothing that exist can exit the universe and God does not expand to the end, because the universe has no end. God left the other planets.

I will let Apostle Paul answer...
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hebrews 13:5-6 "Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things that you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you,' so that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.'"

I believe he is everywhere, but of course, he can do anything. It's difficult to picture a God-less place. I don't want to.
