Hmm this is not a easy thing. Because most of the media channels are controlled by politicians. So If we as public try to change whats being played in media. It might be not a easy task. As we see bombings and muslim riots over and over and over again. People automatically start to think everyone is like this or they start to imagine muslims like this all over the world. But whoever thinks this way. This is not true obviously. Well people who are smart can think outside of the box. So it shouldnt be that hard to explain it to them. Islam doesnt teach muslims to do suicide or anything. Its people who are not following correct teachings of Islam. They will suffer. And also one more interesting point I heard from a speaker.

It was asked why do terrroism attacks occur? It was answered that most of the time it is cuz due to take revenge back. They were misttreated in the past maybe by different religion people or whatever or muslims were attacked.
But when they show people dying in Iraq , afghanistan or whichever country because of war- they show in news it for short time since something else like Muslims blowing up in the cars or wutever is more "worthy" for them to show in news over AND OVer again. Do you get my point?

to your question- I think if we try to speak up and give our TRUE teachings of Islam to non muslims more often and try to broadcast ourselves in media is also a plus. I dont see alots of muslims on TV to give the right teachings of Islam. I just wish we could get a channel on Islam in USA. This will be also very beneficial.
