I've had my ears pierced for 7 months and crust started to develop in the early stages but i carried on cleaning it as advised and it went away, now it's starting to come back and it's really annoying me, will it go away if i keep cleaning it? someone suggested sea-salt saline solution? what works best? thanks

Sea-salt saline solution or sometimes called Dragon mist can be purchased usually at your local tattoo shop and this does help. Also, hydrogen peroxide works too. It's possible that you may be allergic to the metal in the earrings and that is your body reacting to that. I had the same problem and it was an allergy to the metal. You can also try pure metals like gold or silver earrings. At least make sure the posts are pure. That helps too.

it's a natural thing, your ear is healing and it's discharging all the dead skin cells, pus and blood. so don't sweat it, just use whatever saline solution you have and your ears will be just fine.

i did a piercing like a month ago, again on my lobes, and normally i take out the earring and give it a good wash before i put it back in. well, it's your risk if you do it like me because there's always a case of infection.

don't use hydrogen peroxide...

sea salt soaks are absolutely fine, also general care like not playing with them too much, not sleeping on that side (if you can help it), you might have irritated them inadvertently to make them play up a bit - in time should settle down again

That will last for some time. Keep washing it like you are. You may want to use bactine also.
