So in reading the skeptics annotated Bible did anybody else think that it sounded like something outdated and written in the 1800s, and what version of the Bible is on there it seems to be misquoted often? Is there a newer version somewhere more accurate on the internet that is up to date??

The Bible is just fine when translated accurately from the original texts like the King James version although it was written in 1611 and used language and meanings that were in common use back then, not so today which is why many people use the New King James Version which is more readable and understandable for modern people---great care must be exercised when translating so as to not change the original intent or meaning....Jesus himself said to not change it by a "jot or tittle" which means even by something as small as a punctuation mark. That's where you get into trouble, If people choose to ridicule or speculate on meanings in the Bible, let them...they either do not wish to understand it or have not examined the full Bible and how it is inter-related. God's truth is in the Bible and it's our job to understand it as best we can.

It's just a mocking lame attempt by an atheist but they only make themselves look stupid. Because they aren't actually arguing anything. Editorial commentary in the form of pictures and one-sentence comments are not arguments. SAB is the Internet equivalent to a brick wall scribbled with graffiti. It performs no analysis of the social background, the literary data, or context. It is merely "instant reaction" from an angry Skeptic, and that sort of arguing isn't arguing at all.

Ohnoez!

Old Bible is outdated! Must make up a new one that doesn't sound so old. Doesn't matter if we change a few bits, as it must still be the word of god! ... I know..... I'll just add a little bit about gay and indonesian people having a one-way-ticket to hell and make that the "Word of God" too!

Wait, this is supposed to be the word of God we're talking about....

You can't just go round updating it because it sounds old!

How can you expect us to believe it is the word of God, and the biblical truth so to speak if you keep on messin round with it.
