The WA State Govt. has worked hard to sell our minerals to China. I remember 2 years ago how they went all out to do this. Now we have a Federal Minister coming over here, Telling us that He was the one responsible for our fortune.
What a Damn Joke.

Nothing I guess, You have said it all. The Federal Govt. in Canberra, Sprook and talk about what they have done. When one asks the question "WHAT" The troll around the outsides and never reply.

Wayne, I really hope I do not Dissapoint You. But Sydney does not make any money for Australia. Sydney is a place to put people that are not welcome in Canberra. Please look at real facts. "Resources Boom Australia" on the Web. What have you been doing for the last 10 Years? Sleeping?

Wayne, isn't the idea here that AUSTRALIA is rich...not any one state over another nor any one city over another. I am a proud Australian, Queensland-born and raised!

The point i think Dick is trying to get across is that Joe Hockey is trying to claim all the glory from the blue-collar men and state politicians without whom the minerals agreement with China would be non-existent.

The reason that Sydney is so expensive is due to the fact that is a highly desirable city to live in, as is Melbourne, as is becoming with Brisbane. It is inevitable...there is nothing we can do it about it. All states contribute to the national revenue with their fair share. It is AUSTRALIA that is the wealthy nation, not NSW that is the wealthy STATE.
It is about Australia.

Well one things for sure no politician makes this country great it is the grass roots people that have come and gone that have built it with blood,sweat and tears and now we are reaping the benefits.
Funny isn't it that now they want to come to WA when they know that the election could be one or lost over here and the Chinese and the Japanese want to invest heavily and build infrastructure that should have been built by our Federal government years ago.
One thing about Alan Carpenter he wont kowtow to Howard and knows how valuable our state is and will do whats best for West Aussies and all Aussies like he did when he met with the Chinese President before he even met with our Prime Minister.
Oh that's right Howard to busy wining and dining Bush again to put his country first just for a change and now they want to take credit for the gas and mineral deals isn't that typical.

I just cant stand the fact that the vast majority of GST revenue is raised in Sydney, but we see next to zero of it. Oh thats right our taxes are used to build YOUR bloody roads. WA & QLD are so wealthy so why does Sydney support you !
