snowy a 2 years old male refused to eat from the bowl. he wants me to feed him with my own hands. i have to the biscuits on my palm and he will eat very quickly when there are other cats around.
recently just added to new cats.
i try to put the biscuits in differnt bowl for each cats, but snowy only wants to eat from my hand.
is he tryin to get attention or to show the other new cats 'who is the boss'?

Somebody has to be top cat, and we already know who that is, don't we? You've managed to do Snowy's bidding so why should he do anything different? Don't you think it's a little ridiculous to feed your cat from your hand? I know you love him, but you have a life don't you? (Oops this is supposed to be an answer, not a question!). When Snowy gets hungry enough, he'll eat anything anywhere. He won't starve to death. It shouldn't harm his top cat status either.

The first thing is did you train Snowy when he was a kitten?
Well if you didn't then that's one problem.
If you did train Snowy then its probably the other cats are just
a bother to Snowy........
You should never feed you cat a biscuit anyway unless its with other cat food.....

I think it all depends on if u have fed him like that before. he also could be feeling a little left out or unsure about the other cats that u have added to ur home. u should try to spend quality time with each cat so they don't get jelouse, he could also be trying for ur attention since he feels insecure about all the other cats, and that could be why he scarfs his food down too. I have 6 cats and they used to scarf their food down so that the other cats couldn't eat there food. best of luck to u!!

you could be right in thinking that snowy wants to show the other cats that hes the boss

It's probably a lot of both. Cats that like people tend to like them a lot, but there is also a definite pecking order between them. He wants attention and he wants to keep his place in the pecking order.
Things may change once he and the other cats have gotten things sorted out between them.

b/c i think it's like a habit now.
sorry, but just try to leave the food on the bowl for a few days, and make sure you don't pay attention to him. and if he continues to not eat from the bowl... then i guess you might as well feed him with your hands.
