I enjoy conversing with many people from different religions and have known many satanists. To prove this just drop me a message sometime if you would like so I could get to know what you mean when you say you are a satanist. I am really curious because I have known many and would like to hear what you believe in and why. If you are sincere in your question and mean it, then drop me a message. Peace

Insecurity is the simple answer......the more rigorous they work at promoting a religion the less interesting it gets for one is searching for the truth. Unless one tries to study every faith in it's totality you cannot draw conclusions that it is a myth, etc
How many religions tolerate this aspect ? not many atleast among the most practised religions. In fact one of the very basic and continous line you often hear is.....Our's is the only true God ! it is very obvious that you tend to be brainwashed into acceptance and then ofcourse comes hatred, superiority complexes and a stupid belief that you have already have a ticket to heaven.
Coming to your description of calling yourself a satanist...well you will surely change your opinion once you search for the ultimate truth..one God.

for Christians it would be scripture that keeps us from the company of those who really believe differently from us, also it is not that we can not associate but rather keep tight friendships with those unlike us in faith.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (New King James Version)

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

Here's an answer to you from the Quran, even though you might not believe in it :)

Holy Quran translation:

49:13 O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Because there will always be enmity between the children of light and the children of darkness,
In the darkness there is no light......
You serve the god of this world so what fellowship has light with darkness?
May the Merciful Light of Christ shine in the darkness of your deceived heart so you can be free to become the child of the true Living GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
