How much change is happening at this church? A church should be too busy with doing a lot of things for the Lord to just sit around and yawn. Where's the celebrating? The praising??
This church should get up and do stuff. Works may not get you eternal life, but faith without works is dead... or at least extremely bored.

It means they are in a church just to say they went and to feel they have done their "religious duty" for the week. So deceived they all are! Nowhere in the Bible does it say to join any religion nor does it say to attend church. Just two born again believers talking about the Bible is considered church. Those who are falling asleep, good for them! They are not saved and should not be hearing a false gospel anyway.

" is this a sign of their belief in god?" is that your question...
if so then no, it just means the are tired and bored....
but what does that have to do with lulling atheists....
atheists don't go to church so how would they even know people were dozing off....
your question is kind of whacked up.... are you trying to state something??

It's a sign that they go to church out of some sort of obligation and not out of a true desire or excitement to be present before Gods holy word.

I reckon Jesus would fall asleep in boring church services. It's not meant to be boring... Show me boring worship in the bible.

I guess it balances itself out when athiests spend so much effort in trying to disprove the fact that God exists.
