Policemen are supposed to respect the freedom of expression of the protesters and must not infiltrate their ranks to know their plans.

As a Canadian living elsewhere, I suppose that Canada is slowly getting a feeling for what is an everyday occurrance in other countries. Canadians are generally well-meaning and good people, trusting and maybe a bit naiive . I like all of this. But it isn´t that way everywhere, and much of the time you must watch what you say. Canadians will perhaps have to get used to this attitude, unfortunately, that "free speech" is not always "free speech".

ok...I gotta ask...Who really cares?..undercover cops are everywhere....if you are not doing anything illegal why do you care if a cop watches?..
