Several pounds of water and about 3-5 pounds more depending upon how much cr*p you have backed up in your intestines. You're not going to lose much actual fat in a few days. The numbers are give or take a few pounds depending on how fat you are and your height.
How could anyone give me a thumbs down? I'm the only one who mentioned the s*it factor which is like 60% of the weight loss experienced in the first few days of fasting.

First there are different types of fasting. I am doing a Daniel Fast as we speak, which consists of eating only fruits, veggies, and seeds and nuts. You are also allowed to drink water and 100% fruit juices. I would recommend this over the others especially if you have never fasted before. I am doing a 10 day fast for spiritual reasons and am now on day 4. Since starting the fast as of a few minutes ago I have lost almost 10 pounds. I have also been exercising doing light aerobics for about 30 minutes each day. So I think if you choose this type of fast with exercise you can probably lose 3-10 pounds and overall you will feel healthier, well I do anyway. Once the fast is over gradually ease back into eating meats( if you eat meats) and other items and be careful not to overindulge. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Maybe ten pounds. The bad thing about losing weight this way is, not only will you gain the weight back as soon as you start eating again, you will most likely gain more. Your body will start to go into starvation mode, and as soon as you feed it, it will store it all as fat, because it's not sure when you will feed it again. Instead of fasting, try eating a healthy breakfast, and then 5 small meals a day after that. For one meal have a bowl of cereal with fruit, for the next have a salad with very light or no dressing, meal 3 a half bagel with fresh fruit, and a light meat, #4, wheat thins, or wheat bread with meat and veggies, finally, meal 5, another bowl of cereal with fresh fruit chopped up. Drink water and veggie/fruit juice throughout the day, preferrably 100% juice only. No added sugars.
Doing this will speed up your metabilism and give you more energy to go out and take a fast paced walk.
A much healthier alternative to fasting to lose weight. This way, you will lose the weight and keep it off! Good luck!

It depends on your weight and height.
If your body needs 1500 calories to function you'll only lose 1 pound every 2 days. But that's based on your BMR. (they have calculators to figure out what that is) Your BMR is telling you how many calories you'd burn if you did absolutely nothing. So you'd probably lose about a little more like 1.5 pounds if you did your normal activities, and you can lose up to 2 pounds if you do a very intense workout. BTW you need to burn 3500 ( or 3600 i'm not sure) calories to lose 1 pound.
Basically you're not going to lose much. And if you go on a fast for more than 1 day you'll need to increase your calorie intake slowly, and try to avoid fat at all costs because your body will go into starvation mode and cling on to every ounce of fat, making you gain the weight back quickly.
Also you probably will end up bingeing.

Not much at all. Fasting for a day is a good idea if you want to give your stomach and system some rest ,otherwise it's not a very good thing to do. 3days is not called fasting that's called starving. Your mind would always be reminding you of food and you'll end up bingeing. You wouldn't want that at all. There are only two ways, !. Ignore and live with it.2. Exercise strictly while cutting down sugar and fats. No other short cut, i'm afraid.

Hey I'm right along with you https://tr.im/DailyNewsTrends i weighed 150 and now i weigh 142 i lost 8 pounds in a week i posted a question about my diet i don't know
how i can get you to look at it! I'm on the diet but i do pay for it and the classes all i do is make sure i have money. I'm 5'2 22 years old a female and weighed 150 lol i now weigh 142 and it's only been my first week of dieting. I know it's probably water weight but girl it works just follow what i have to say!
You don't have to work out but i mean walking 2 miles or 3 miles a day won't hurt just speeds up the process! Do not eat after 7pm but drink water to fill you up! Drink water all day but not too too much just after every meal you eat!
Start off with a cup of cereal and a half cup of milk a day! Than have a 100 calorie snack about 2 hours after your breakfast. Than have a Smart Ones meal for lunch,
another 100 calorie snack a couple hours after that. Than for dinner another Smart Ones meal, and for a dessert have another 100 calorie snack or something small. But
don't eat past 7pm. It really works. I mean i been wanting to get under that 150 mark for the longest and i finally did it I'm 142 now and its only Saturday! lose weight very fast very quickly
It will work just keep your mind to it. Stay positive! Things happen in time. Just don't eat fast food don't drink sodas and definitely don't eat SWEETS! lose weight very fast very quickly

Nothing , it would take at least three weeks to lose anything. It's not the food that adds weight, it's where it goes. You would have to do vigourous exercise and only drink fluids to lose a good chunk of weight. But some people do. Just follow a fat free, no sugar diet, and exercise, and you will lose.

This is a very, very bad idea. In fact, this makes me wonder if you are close to having an eating disorder. To lose weight you have to be still taking in a certain number of calories, otherwise your body goes into starvation mode and begins to save up what it eats. If you fast completely, your body will begin to digest itself, which leads to loss of mental capacities and muscle. If you think you need to lose weight, PLEASE PLEASE see a doctor and/or a nutritionist, who can help you learn how to do it in a healthy way.

Don't fast, just eat healthy and exercise.
If you are that mind-set on fasting, you'd probably lose little, or nothing, as during this time your body would be reacting and saving fat as much as possible.

Dieting, exercise, or supplements don't work! It's all about metabolism. Ever known someone who eats whatever they want - whenever they want and are always skinny? It's because they have a fast metabolism. I used this program - worked great for me.
