and how do you do your routine for this?
I SOAK my feet in warm water [with a LOT of salt added] for a few min.
then rub oil on my feet.
soak them again
then get out ye ol' pumice stone and scrub/shrub away dry skin.
THEN wash, and moisturize w/peppermint lotion

I prefer to soak my feet, use a foot file or pumice, & rinse before applying oil or lotion.

I used to use pumice but now there are such nice and easier things to use that I use them. Some have handles on them with a smoother and rougher side. Some are small and have a "cheese grater type" of smoother. Those word wonders on wet skin either after a shower OR after soaking in a tub of warm water. There are sooo many good moisturizers out and some are relatively inexpensive and keep feet soft. I think from being from a place where people live in sandals (Miami), their feet are one of the first things I notice about them...whether they are taken care of or whether they are all callused and chipped polish on them. Many men are really into feet and it's not hard to keep them looking nice for me and for who ever sees them, too.

I use it just after the shower...rinse feet, then apply the lotion. Otherwise the lotion will clog up the pumice stone and it won't work so well.
