Use a clay based mask and/or an exfoliant (scrub).

I had the worst blackheads around my nose, and then I started using "Modern Friction" from Origins. Cleared those suckers right up, and my skin looks fantastic. =)

Given below are a few tips to remove blackheads:

· Do not use harsh soaps or lotions, which could the face oily. Use cleansers and try to keep the skin less oily.

· Try to keep the dead cells away from the skin, by cleaning your face.

· Do not squeeze the blackheads. Too much squeezing could damage the skin and make the pores large.

· Applying warm water on the face and gently putting pressure with a little cotton could clear the clogs.

· You can use “blackhead strips” which are available in the markets. These strips only remove the upper portion on the blackheads and not its root.

The best and probably most expensive way is regular facials. The esthetician will extract the blackheads without causing the bacteria to spread.
Other then that, he can try the biore strips, although I find that men's skin is usually to thick for them to penetrate.
Regular exfoiliation with any scrub that contains salicylic acid will also help.

Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Use Neutrogena Clear Pore Wash/Mask. It has clay and benzoyl peroxide to absorb excess oil, clear away old skin cells and kill bacteria. It works best as a mask - just apply where needed once or twice a week.

Or he can use Biore pore strips to remove them.
