This guy i used to date, whom i want to remian friends with, lies about EVERYTHING. hes already lied about being married, he has lied about getting some new great job when he really didn't, he lied about his " wife " sending a picture of someone else more attractive than his real wife. he alwasy brags up his life. and you might say that he is doing it to make me jealoous or something , but thats not the csae because he hardly ever calls so i know he doesnt like me. unless he does and playin hard to get. what do u thinK?

It is quite simple why your guy lies about everything. He is very insecure with himself and is afraid that you or anyone else won't like him is he is what he is. He could also be a compulsive liar but if I had my guess it is the former.

Why would you want to remain friends with someone that lies to you all of the time? How would you ever know if he was trying to be honest with you? What if he said that he did care, how would you know if he was telling you the truth?
