Spirituality consists of seeking the will of the creator, or seeking out the core beliefs in oneself....As long as we are seeking, we are progressing...it is when we stop seeking, and become content to stand still, that we beging to regress.
you are either moving forward or moving backward...no middle ground.
i hope you find what it is you seek....and please my friend, do not mistake spirituality with religion!

How do you know if you are becoming more spiritual?
Well when you start believing in something that requires faith over logic
(Lots of goofy people out there that is for sure- should have asked- I have been holding my breath for a few minutes and I am feeling weak. What should I do?)

Good question and difficult to answer. One way to become more spiritual is to know your scripture and to be aware of referring to it in more aspects of your life. A changing attitude towards people - more compassion and understanding in a Christian sense. Does use of the gifts mean you are more spiritual - not necessarily.
I'd be interested in other suggestions.

~Well do you think about life, nature, and the Universe? Do you ponder over your own existence? Do you think about God often? Do you think about His/Her creation? Do you meditate and pray? Do you read books about the divine? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you are spiritual.

The closer you get to Jesus and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and want more and more of the love and peace that Jesus offers .You get farther away from worldly things and that will show you that you are getting more spiritual and less religious.

...it's something you feel. You can't really know it by asking other people. Spirituality is a very personal thing and is different for everyone.

if your radii for love has grown...not just focus in human beings...but all creations...including animals and plants..if you want to render unselfish service to humanity..then thats where you grow spiritually...
