If you proposed to your girlfriend and she said no, would you break up with her?

Okay you said guys but... i heard this quote somewhere or something close to it... but in the reverse sense... Do you leave some one who won't marry you - or says no to you...
'If you break up with some one after they've said no to marriage - to you - Were you really ever in love with them, or were you in love with the concept of marriage?"

It would depend on a) how long we have been going out and b) how many times she has turn down your proposals.
If I were proposing to a woman and she turned me down, I wouldn't dump her yet. Maybe she isn't ready for marriage yet. If we have been dating for a long time and she still doesn't want to get married, then there is a good chance she doesn't want to get married to me. Then I would have to make a choice of whether I am content on being boyfriend/girlfriend or move on.

If she also says "No, I'm just not ready yet but I love you and I still want to be with you" then OK.
If she says "No, I don't see us being married" or something like that, then yes, I'd break up with her.
So it really depends on why she says no.

I don't imagine it would be just "no". I'd ask under what conditions she'd reconsider... I'd ask her for a noble quest to prove my worth.

definetly not if i love her, would try my best to please her.make her comfortable show her that she is most and much important for me,and i will stay with her for entire life. and yet she dissaprrove........................................................take her to a nice pub or restaurent and simply date rape her ...!!!!!!!!!simple naaaaaaaaa.
