in a pot boil water with:
ginger root, garlic, jalapeno all cut up, not too fine (you want to be able to strain them out)
turn off the heat and add honey, lemon juice and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
Drink this, it will clear you right out.
Other suggestions:
- steam with eucalyptus and tea tree oil (or you can use vicks vaporub in it...breathe in the steam
- eat wasabi
bet well soon.

Use a nasal spray to clear the nose, and start taking emergence (it's a vitamin drink) to help build up your immune system. Over the counter medications are fine but only disguise the symptoms. There are also health food stores where you can buy homeopathic remedies if that is the route you would like to take (I find them very effective). Best of luck and get lots of rest!

I heard pushing your tongue against the roof of your mouth and applying pressure to between your eyebrows can relieve nasal congestion. Others have said it works but for me, it wasn't as effective.
The most effective way of course is to take medicine and what the others have suggested. Personally for me, I found standing up and walking around actually clears congestion temporarily. Usually when I walk out of a room or go to a place where the air flow is better, congestion is gone.

Your temperature is high, I would say, which is making you feel faint and dizzy. Take 2 paracetamol, this will bring down your temp and make you feel human again! You are just taking a long time to get over the cold/flu. Don't stress too much, stay in and keep yourself comfortable, things will get better soon.
