Ok. The problem is, I want to be a astronaut. I have always been interested in cosmology but I have no idea where to start. Can someone please tell me what path I have to take after high school. I am planning to do my A-levels after finishing high school. I'm 16 years old. Is there anything I should do now to increase my chances? And does anyone know what course to take to become an astronaut or a rocket scientist? Is there any recommended institutions that I should go to after A-levels? People have been saying that I am too ambitious and that I will never succeed but I really have the passion to do this. Please help.

Contact the astronaut program and ask. You'll have to get top grades in math and science, and they like people who are athletic too and in very good shape, so you should take up running, I believe. It would help to be a Scout and also to study another language. There are summer camp programs that you should look into. Who cares what others say, they always say that to ambitious kids. I'm sure very astronaut heard the same thing.
