Or could you be hearing saints? (in Catholic church there is the communion of saints belief)

Actually, I don't mean "hear voices outloud"..I mean sense their thoughts. What happened to God speaking "in a still small voice"?

Well, God probably isn't thinking about how uncomfortable his shoes are. The people in church next to you are.

god doesnt actually talk to you. God sends you suggestions being very subtle. Since I am not Catholic, I dont believe in Saints. I am Chistrian, but there are no Saints they are only people just like you and I. as for hearing voices in the church, I would have to believe that one is experiencing the power of suggestion which priests and ministers are good at doing.

According to the Bible humans do not have Psychic abilities unless they are possessed by demonic forces which is demonstrated in Acts 9. Actually there are some great chapters in Acts about demonic possession.
The dead do not remain on earth according to Job 7.
God forbid people from associating with mediums, psychics, and astrologers in Leviticus (19 i think).
The Bible says that God is a God of Justice and Mercy. He is not going to make your life good. He is not going to make you happy. He is going to save your life after your die physically, if you obey the old laws according to Jesus.
Jesus died on the cross to pay the punishment that we deserve for all our sins. Through his mercy you can be forgiven and be allowed to enter the gates of heaven.
Think of eternity, not today. Your actions today will effect your eternal soul.

God does not speak to anyone. The communiction come through the part of the mind that is structured to receive information.

You're forgot another very likely possibility -- you're only "hearing" your own fertile imagination concocting imaginary conversations.
How do you know the difference? Well, religion is based on faith. You can't "know" it in any epistemological sense, but you choose to believe it anyway.

either way I think this is a question to be put in the psychology section. hearing voices may mean a psychological problem.

I don't think God is in the churches any more. Too much hypocrisy. I think you can still find him in his true believers hearts. That is something to think about, voices in church???
