Whatever the rate is for that hotel. Some hotels give a discount for making a reservation, but sometimes if they have a lot of vacancies a walk in gets a better price. Depends on the hotel. I aclled two days ahead and was given a rate, when I showed up and asked for a room I forgot to tell them I had a reservation and got the room for about 20% less! Asked the clerk about it later and was told that resevations always get the set rate but when occupancy was below a certain amount discounts kick in.

Hotels rates vary all over the world. In the US you can get a room for the night anywhere between $19 and $10,000. All depends on the city and the hotel.
