Immigration Rulings?

Please help me to find the right topic for my paper. The paper is required to look up the latest rulings with respect to legal issues surrounding Immigration in American. What are the pro and con legal arguments and issues related to immigration in the U.S.? So, which immigration legal issue will fit this paper?Please help,

I think the best topic would be "Illegal Immigrants, Despite How Hardworking They Are, Should Not Be Legalized"

Pro:
Illegal immigrants work very hard and have become part of American economic growth. They get paid minimum wages, do jobs that most American won't do such as farming, fast food business, and cheap construction labor, and they are citizen although they don't have paper that can explain it. They live, born, raise, and work in the country that give them the opportunity to do so. although they are illegal, we still need them.

Contra:
Legalizing illegal immigrants mean shouting out loud how f*** off immigration law is, and sadly how screwed up the American system in this country because millions of dollar has lost every day cause by illegal immigrant. Legalize them also means inviting more illegal to the country and automatically say "Welcome to land of opportunity, We are waiting for more illegals." If illegal is legalized, what about those who do all the paperwork, apply the visa, provide all of the correct information, and spend thousands of dollars to be legal then found out they are denied to enter the country??

Look up the 9-11 commission report. They explain what needs to be done to protect Americans. There are a lot of good sights. Like Numbers USA. Just type in illegal immigration in the search area of your computer. Also type in illegal immigration in you tube. There are many interesting videos of illegal protesters.
As for myself I believe illegal immigration is wrong and so does everyone else I know.
We can not take in all the poor of the world without becoming poor ourselves!
