is wellbutrin addicting. doc is prescribing this new drug because I am depressed And have A.D.D.... I dont want anymore pills that I will abuse or even worse, lead me right back to my drug of choice, CRYSTAL METH...

Wellbutrin is not addicting. It doesn't give you a high. You might have to taper off if you want to try another drug, but give this one a try. If this doesn't work, there are other medications. You should also be going to Narc-Anon groups, every day for the first 90 days of sobriety. Good luck! I will be thinking of you and wishing you well.

Wellbutrin has also been shown to help with fighting addictions. What you're going through is NOT easy. It will just give you another tool to help you suceed in beating it. I wish you all the luck in the world! If you wonder about the medicine too, ask your doctor or nurse. That's what they're there for. They only want to help you and will answer whatever questions you have. Good luck!
Oh, Wellbutrin is also an anti-depressant, so it will help with that as well. I'm on it too but just for depression and to help me with a food addiction. It DOES help. Don't give up!

I'm sure the doctor knows what is right for you. If you're concerned maybe go to another doctor and get a second opinion. Don't take anyone's word, and definitely don't go researching online because you don't know who you can trust in the internet world.

I dont want to be mean but "Take Control" !!! Just put up with it and do it cold, I know it might be tuff but you can do it. Get up and go out, walk, think positive, take control of your body, your in charge not the drugs, be smart, drink lots of water and do lots of walking, it will wear off, dont be a fool, take charge of your life and stop making excuses.
