Growing up it seems that the tree of Good and Evil contained something that man wasn't suppost to have and it seems so weird not to know good and evil. I was thinking and knowing good and evil seems to be that we gained a conscience. If you think about it, Adam and Eve were not ashamed until they ate from that tree. Their eyes were opened, could that be our conscience?
If they gained a conscience then what would it be like not to have a conscience but to be in a holy state?
I suppose that it would be like knowing a truth and not even thinking other wise. Like a child living in a two parent home with a mom and dad and not even considering that some families don't have a dad. I bet they didn't even consider doing otherwise until the serpent came along.

swindled: if it means "consecrated to God" then why is God holy. I think Holy means much more then consecrated.

14 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. 15 They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
