ive bene having troubles uploading my new sony cyber shot DSC-H5 softwear ..now ive uploaded it .But when i goto connect the camera to the cord..it says "installing new hardware" and freezes up to that and then when i just go to the viewer it says no media recognized! HOW DO I GET THIS TO GET RECOGNIZED.I'm running on HP windows ME... i have a recovery disk..but im not sure if that will take opff the internet ?plesae get back at me and let me know thakns!

Go to Sony's website and download the latest drivers for your OS. It's obviously hanging up on the driver software.
I've had the same problem with several different USB devices.

ME is a pretty old system to be supported by a new camera, i would not be surprised that software is available for xp and vista systems only. For sure, you will need to down load drivers that are specific for ME.
