clearasil is better but proactive is definately better than the two. Only because it gives you a complete set including the toner, repairer and face washer however find the key ingrediants such as benzoyl proxide and a toning agent then mix and match from other products.
E.g use a clearasil face washer, i recommed witch hazel as a toner and find a good moisterisor

It depends on whether salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide works for you better. Neutrogena always has worked well for me. Clearasil hasn't but other benzoyl peroxide products (like AcneFree) have.
