The food is average. They do not get "leftovers" from the passengers as some people think, and they do not get the same food as the passengers. It's just normal everyday food.

Disgusting.
Actually depends a lot on the ship, and in several staff eat at passenger restaurants (staff, not crew)
But overall it´s bad.
Also, after 6 months or more on the same ship you get sick of it cause it really repeats itself.
There are passenger left overs, but things like pies, deserts, etc.

usually whatever is left from passengers

the buffet line for the cruise has lots of fish and fruits

there are three or four choices

crew does not complain / most all have such good attitudes

the cruiselines are rough to work for . no employment hours / laws to protect those at sea / maritime laws exempt .

It's very good... not as good as the stuff the passengers get... but still very good food and very plentiful.
