I googled it and found "States without residency requirements, besides Tennessee, are Hawaii, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin."

Only one I heard of is Cal. Micheal Savage had a bunch that went to college picket him. I heard something even better today on Fox News and CNN. Since ICE has been cracking down the last couple of years a group of our illegal immigrants went to Canada, where they get everything.
No joke, watch the news. They have welfare, housing college, all the good stuff, transportantion. I was embrassed though when they show a guy that said he had been here nine years and was just making aliving for his family (cannot fault him with the businesses breaking the law too and holding the carrot) and the gentleman could not speck one word of English, we should have taught him.
Anyway the Town they were in (about 50 of them) was getting mad because they had to spring for about $300,000 a year to help them. What's wrong with them thar Canadians? There's nothing they can do about it because the government is like social and liberal, sorta like it will be here with the next demo pres (just kidding).
Anyway I think that is the best for all of them. Think about this, they could live there, then come across our border and work and then go back everyday and make some serious jack. Loks retty good to me. Take care.

Immigrants are allowed to go to college, drive, etc. You can be a legal immigrant in many ways, have a visa ( most students come from other countries to our colleges this way), legal resident ( still be a citizen in your country, but reside in the states), get a green card (lawful permanent resident ), become a citizen, be born on American soil by parents that are from other countries, marry an American, etc. As long as you are a legal immigrant you have the same rights as natural born citizens, with the exception of becoming President. Illegal immigrants have no rights (like protesting in our streets) and shouldn't, they have broken our laws, something we ourselves can not do.

All of them if you are legal. None of them if you are not. You need a social security number to get a license (at least in New York), but you can drive with a foreign license if you have one from your country. As for school, I don't know a university that will sponsor an illegal immigrant. The government would freak out. Unless you claim political asylum, but that takes forever and it's really rare and hard to prove.

being interior the U. S. legally on a H1B visa and having grow to be gifted at all the hoops you're able to be able to desire to bounce via to get visas issued and renewed I do experience for people who experience that have no selection yet to return here illegally to make funds...yet could desire to we supply them a drivers license? the respond must be no and who of their precise techniques might observe for a license in the event that they have been here illegally besides? If the government (at any point) difficulty them with any form of id then they comprehend there are unlawful immigrants interior the rustic so actual they could desire to deport them, precise? returned, sorry while you're unlawful and residing here yet I had to go interior the process the technique of doing this the right way, why could desire to you be excused from that? i'm hoping the immigration technique is given some form of concentration interior the hot administration and that i do no longer mean a blanket "illegals out" yet something which will rather help preserving people who need to be here to artwork for their slice of the american dream yet that still manages to maintain the undesirables away.

In TX, illegal aliens (especially their US born children) get completely FREE ride at state colleges and community schools. Yes, they really do get FREE tuition not offered to US citizens. It's not on any website or collge brochures but once you get enrolled and read info about "scholarships" and "grants" the info is really there. Stop living in denial!
In every state, drivers license is never a problem for any immigrant. Legal residency is never even asked. For illegal immigrants, it's easy to make up (or buy) a social security number for the DL office.

All states allow legal immmigrants to go to college and get driver's licenses.
If you're talking about illegal immigrants, there are about 8-10 states that let them get driver's licenses. Most let them go to college, but in many states they would have to pay out-of-state tuition.

You're seriously misguided: no state allows open door FREE college admission or FREE U.S. drivers license issue.
Some states (inculding liberal California) will allow you a temporary visa, pending an active application for U.S. citizenship is made and processed.
Let that go---and you roll the dice for deportation, where ALL states (inculding liberal California) provide FREE transportation to Mexico---where our tax money is well spent on.

If you're talking about illegal immigrants, then I'm pretty sure California does, but I don't know of any others. If you're talking about immigrants who went through the system, then all the states let them go to college and drive.
