Sometimes it does happen that their are not waste baskets available to throw them away. And you really do not want to walk out of your stall holding a pad or tampon. Yes I know it would more then likely be wrapped in tp. But still I do not want to be walking out of a stall carrying this to dispose by the trash can at the sink. So there are times you have no choice but flush. Also there are times when the waste container on wall is full and stuff is about to fall out. You really do not want to have to push your stuff in there, and risk touching someone elses. So flushing it is the only way to go.

Well most women know that pads and tampons clog the toilet. And i'm not sure why anyone would bother seeing as almost every washroom has a pad/tampon dispenser in the stall for that exact reason. Perhaps that bathroom is missing one, which is why ppl are flushing it down the toilet.
I just use the dispenser like most. I only flushed a tampon once when there wasn't a dispenser.

No, never. I wrap them into something and put them in a garbage bin. If there is no garbage bin by the toilet then I take it with me and put it in the nearest bin. It clogs the toilet to put them in there and it's really inconsiderate to just leave them there if there is no garbage bin.
At your work, maybe it's necessary to put a little sign in the bathroom asking women not to flush their pads down the toilet. Make sure that there is a garbage bin right by the toilet where they can throw away their pads instead.

Never. In 4th grade when they took all the girls aside to tel them about menstruation the nurse said to NEVER flush pads or even tampons.
A friend of mine thought it was ok to flush tampons until the plumber had to come and unclog her toilet.
Boy was she mortified!
But the details of your question reminds me:
I used to work at a nursing home and the maintenance staff was constantly being called to unclog toilets only to find that nurse aids were stuffing dirty linens and adult diapers down there!
In all the time I worked there I could never understand why anyone would do this, if they got a kick out of it or if they were just too lazy to dispose of these things properly (or just too stupid!)

i never do it at home and have the decency to not do it in public. it is a pain in the *** when a toilet clogs due to a pad or tampon. it is very important that every women's restroom has a small trash can to throw these things away in. if not, one would be more likley to flush it. only lazy, rude, and disrespectful women do it.

Nope, little kids put the roll of paper down the toilet. Like putting the ends down then flushes, then all the rolls fly out. I did that once.

It shouldn't be done. Public toilets are for everyone of us. If they get clogged, it inconvenience us and nobody else. Ladies should act like ladies and take care of private as well as public property.

No, I never flush a pad, at home or in public. That's what the little receptacle is for.

Yes I do flush my pads down the toilet or in public. I would not do it at home because I know that it clogs the toilet. I look at it this way. I know I am not the only one who flushes pads down the toilet. I do it to be funny. ha ha ha. Also I do it to get back at the business if an employee has been rude to me.
Seriously, I do it and then I laugh. I know I am not suppose to do it. But I have to . It is an impulse. Then when people hang signs that say please do not flush sanitary products use basket. Then i sit there and have a good chuckle. And guess what. I flush it down, and I watch it go down. and then I laugh all the way out.
