I know there's a cable for the 360 that can plug into a computer monitor and go HD. Is there one for the PS3? Can I use the 360 cable?

Hello. You are lucky because there is a cable. Like the one who said gamebridge he is correct but I know the website to the place to purchase this product. I purchased this product for my friend, and he said it was great! On the box it says it works for Xbox, PlayStation 2 but I am sure it will work for PS3 since my friend has a PS3. I haven't purchased this product yet for my PS3 since I have no use for it, but if you have use for it here is the link to the website http://www.superufo.com/product_html/Cool_Stuff_GameBridge_AVC_1400_Console_to_PC_USB2_0_Adaptor.html
Superufo is a very reliable website. I actually ordered it for my friend and shipped it his house and it arrived in less than a week! Try it. Hope this helps and good luck!

it depends on what inputs your monitor has

if it has hdmi, all you need is hdmi cable
if it has dvi, you need a dvi to hdmi conversion cable, they are around $30 if you know where to look.

im not sure what monitor you have but it may have a wierd display if the native resolution isn't 1080i/p or 720p because some monitors don't have the same scaling processor technology that hdtvs have

Well first off...... Find out how many video and/or audio inputs this monitor has. The TV in our bedroom is a Samsung LCD set. It has about 5 or 6 inputs on the back. In such a case, put one on input 1 and the other on input 2. If you have any other questions, just hit me up and I'll try my best to help you out. ....
