Usually the best pick-up line that usually works for me is, "Hi! I'm _____. What's yours?". It is simple, friendly and too the point. Don't go with anything cheesy or offensive.
Another thing that usually works that breaks the ice is notice something unique or unusual that she is wearing and comment on that. If you use this approach, try to be complimentary or humorous. Don't be offensive, sarcastic, nor make any references to any part of her anatomy.
If you use this line, "Wanna help me make a clock? I just drop my pants and you add a face and two hands to the first thing you see.", then start slapping yourself silly right now.

umm to be honest with you. Pick up lines are stupid and most of the time they don't work. Pick up lines are too cheesy....just be fun and outgoing.
