What should I do about my potsmoking brother?

"why did you just smoke a bunch of weed, you are heading to class!"- me 6:05pm, "dude, this will only make me do better! in class!, I will listen more!"- bro 6:06pm

2 hours later...
(walks back home all pissed)
"I did everything perfectly, but got 1 thing wrong that everyone else knew besides me, I failed my test"- bro 8:14pm

now he is smoking trees in his room
what should I do?

DENIAL IS NOT A RIVER IN EGYPT!
If you are still living with your parents, you need to get them involved and get your brother into a detox program. If you two are living apart from your parents, then move out! Don't carry the responsibility for 2 people.

Things are not going to improve until either he realizes that his drug usage is messing his life up, or until somebody does an intervention.

What happens when he drives under the influence? Are you going to wait until he kills someone before getting him some help? What if the school stages the ol drug-sniffing dog search? What if he gets arrested?
Or is he going to have to detox in prison?

Go and talk to him. A proper heart to heart conversation. Let him know that you love him and that you are worried about him.
