Clearly shows that there is a lot more to do with regards to awareness, since I only found out about it yesterday arvo while surfing the net...

Despite having major depressive disorder, I knew nothing of this.
Shows how much awareness there are to mental disorders. But I have seen more awareness with autism, so perhaps our day will come.

They should've advertised more. I knew about it because I pass a mental health facility daily and they had a sign out and said "Free Depression Screening on October 10th". If you think you need help or know someone who may though, there is ALWAYS help somewhere.

Wow, thanks for letting me know. I had no idea, I think this is something that we need to be aware of at this point (especially since SO many people misunderstand it!) You can bet that I'll be the one leading an awareness week for it at my college next year.
