HAPPY FALL TO YOU
....From one pumpkin to another !!!

A woman was asked by a coworker, 'What is it like to be a Christian?'

The coworker replied, 'It is like being a pumpkin.' God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.

He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.'

This was passed on to me by another pumpkin. Now it's your turn to pass it to other pumpkins.

OK but I want to get my 2 points before I go :+) !!! Now don't forget when those kiddies come to your door- give them lots of candy and tell them how much Jesus loves them- slip them a gospel tract too, a kiddie one!

Cute pumpkin story! :) It's great being a Christian because you have peace inside that remains there no matter what the circumstances you might be going through. You know Jesus and have a relationship with Him, and you have the full reality of His presence in your life, and when you are praying you can feel His big smile just shining on you and you know He is THE God. He's a COOL God, and the only real true God.
Sometimes in this world our happiness can be taken away, but our JOY is something we believers will never lose because it comes from our Lord!

I don't like being a pumpkin. I want to be something that is not associated with Halloween....the day of the dead...no thank you...

How about I just be a human who God picked,,brought me into the fold, washed me up,,,,transformed my mind, covered my sins with his blood,,,,removed all my stinking thinking, and I now go around with a smile on my face, and the light of the Lord shines from my face....telling the world that I am saved.

Well, I've never been compared to a pumpkin before (smile), but I really don't mind. I've been called so many bad names that a "pumpkin" sounds kind of refreshing. God bless you and thank you for sharing this. Happy Fall season to you too!

Then the pumpkin rots from the inside out, just like everything else.

I love this analogy. It's really catchy too, and it will be remembered by the people who read it. And unlike a jack o lantern, God works in us every day instead of just one! Also, the candle will never burn out.

Thanks for sharing!

they don't look to be Jews because Jew's do not trust the messiah has come yet. they don't trust Jesus so believing in Jesus and declaring your Jewish obviously contradicts one yet another.... it truly is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that call themselves "Jews". supply up this custom now, your disgracing both Judaism and Christianity.

There is peace of mind. You know that what ever happens Jesus is with you.You don't want to do the things you did before. I have never regretted being a Christian!
