What problems arn't illegal aliens causing?

.

2007-10-10 15:53:02 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 10 3

Link 1) The MSM report ad nauseam that illegal aliens are only "doing work that Americans won't." This mantra is mercilessly bandied about by illegal immigration supporters and echoes throughout the halls of Congress and the White House whenever the topic comes up. What is never mentioned, however, is that the illegal aliens are artificially depressing compensation and that illegal aliens are the only ones who will do the work at such low wages. In actual fact, illegal immigration distorts the law of supply and demand in a capitalistic society. Additionally it is grossly hypocritical to want to raise the minimum wage on one hand while the other hand winks at illegal aliens working at far below prevailing wages.

Link 2) Except for when an illegal alien does something really horrific, such as when illegal aliens killed Denver Police Officer Don Young and Los Angeles County Deputy David March, or when one dragged his girlfriend to death behind his car, we rarely hear about the crime being committed specifically by illegal aliens.

Link 3) Many of the violent crimes being committed by illegal aliens are sexual crimes.

Link 4) The economic impact of illegal immigration covers a wide stratum, including the costs for the collateral impact of crime, traffic accidents, education, health care, and the infrastructure. The ADDENDUM of this report contains even more.

Link 5) Legal immigrants are required to have medical screening to ensure that they do not bring any contagious diseases into the United States. Illegal aliens are not screened and many are carrying horrific third world diseases that do not belong in the USA. Many of these diseases are highly contagious and will infect citizens that come in contact with an infected illegal alien. This has already happened in restaurants, schools, and police forces.

Link 6) Many legal immigrants to the US are highly educated – something that is highly desired in an immigrant. In contrast, most illegal aliens are very poorly educated. The average education levels for Mexican fathers, a large component of the illegal alien population, and their U.S.-born children are at the bottom of the educational spectrum.

Uneducated immigrants, regardless of heritage or ethnicity, who have little interest in education, generally end up with poorly educated children. While the averages are already bad, the education gap between Mexican and non-Mexican natives is far larger than the simple averages would indicate.

Link 7) Many of the brutal crimes referenced in the two previous sections are gang related with the growing Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang being notoriously brutal in carrying out its criminal activities. How much is unknown because NOBODY IS TRACKING IT.

Link 8) There are currently over 400,000 unaccounted for illegal alien criminals with outstanding deportation orders. Those are just the ones apprehended. At least one fourth of these are hard core criminals. Nobody knows how many more there are, but they are numerous and roaming your neighborhoods, preying on you and your family.

Link 9) When it comes to the impact of illegal immigration, terrorism must be at the top of the list due to its potential to directly harm the greatest number of Americans. It is worth noting that three of the four terrorist pilots in the 9/11 attack were in the country illegally. 9/11 was a precursor. The next big incident could be far greater and kill many more Americans.

Link 10) What would the May 1, 2006, illegal immigration boycott look like without illegal immigration?

Just like any race regardless of legal status you have moochers and criminals. I have terrible news for the people above. Even if you send every illegal back to there country there will still be the above mentioned problems accept you can add a few more like how about inflation. If I have to pay an American $20 an hour to pick lettuce (which is what it would take to get me in those damn hot fields) guess how much a head of lettuce will sell for? All the torn families are a breeding ground for a new hate filled generation in the future, and more reason to be huddled in your house in fear. Do you people think that America is the only country that going through an immigration evolution? The world is changing and just like any change there is going to be resistance.

Read this with detail. Ok first of you hear alot about how "illegal" or indocumented immigrants are living of of welfare and that they don't pay taxes. That is the stupedest comment I hear. If you work with a valid social security number or not like some do, you still get taxes taken out of your check every week, Duh, as for welfare you need a valid social to receive any type of benefits. As for other things like crime and all think about it, those are a small percent of people doing wrong things which they get thrown out of the country and have no chance of getting back into the country legally. The question you should also ask is what are the benefits that they bring in too. I guarentee you you will have not to many americans or people in general answer you, since they only want to see what others say and are blind to what good is there.

Some people complain about them taking jobs and receiving benefits that loyal, blood-born Americans don't get, which causes a great economic problem. Many illegal aliens take jobs for much cheaper pay, therefore some "employers" completely overlook the American citizen (who they'd have to pay at least minimum wage) and opt for the illegal alien (who often accepts pay at a much lower rate).

Google it. There's tons of articles about this problem.

Another problem is that they sometimes get into schools, taking spots that us Americans rate. Another issue is that sometimes as they're coming over here, they bring drugs and illegal weapons which increases the criminal activity.

The worst problem is against one wonderful group of people. Who?

Well, I have friends from China, Taiwan, Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rica, Venezuela (grrrrrrrrowl!), Costa Rica, Ethiopa, India, Russia, Japan, Korea, ... It might be easier to name nations I do NOT have friends from.

But these Illegals with their seething hatred of law and decency have hurt one group above all others.

I know in the two states I've lived in, a lot of the crime in our area is caused by illegal immigrants. It brings down our culture to have the "dregs" of that country (since it's not like the ones that contribute greatly to society have trouble getting visas, eg doctors, teachers etc) come to ours. Every day for 6 years that I lived in Virginia I dreaded running into a Mexican, because even walking to the post office in suburbia, there would be truckfulls driving by, whistling, making "kissing" sounds, etc. (There was a huge problem with sex crimes by Hispanics in our area).

Arizona was 1000 times worse, living in one of Phoenix's suburbs. (Phoenix, by the way, has the highest car theft rate in the United States ). One of the major roads in our area was one of the deadliest in the state because immigrants coming illegally from Mexico would drive without having a license (which meant that they never learned how to drive, and definitely not drive safely).

I consider myself a staunch liberal in all areas except immigration. I refuse to live in areas with high Mexican populations now because it really lowers your quality of live to see groups of leering Mexicans leaning against stores, or to have thousands of taxpayer dollars spent to build a day-laborer center in your area because the illegals have nowhere to go to wait for jobs, so they just stand around 7-11s, pissing on the sides of walls.

I am not racist in general against Mexicans, just the illegal ones, since, as I said before, it's not like the best and the brightest are going to be coming over here without papers. The lower-class Mexicans are the ones coming here illegally, disrespecting our laws and our culture, not giving the tiniest **** about assimilating.

Like I said before, I'm a Democrat, and no one can tell me I'm not because I don't support giving people who don't respect our culture and others a free pass into the States.

Depleting the funds set up for legal citizens. Overcrowding schools. Rising healthcare costs. Filling jobs that legal citizens would do. Increased auto insurance rates. Increase in crime rates. Increased taxes. Should I go on?
