There is darkness, then suddenly at the end of a tunnel/hallway there is this red glowing light. At the end of the tunnel/hallway there are voices, but I can't understand what they say, but when I try to walk closer, the voices are silenced and I wake up.

one thing is for sure, we don't have a clear cut answer to that. but as i have learned from our psychology class, dreams may belong to your unconscious wish fulfillment, to your unlearned experiences, for your day to day activities and to your survival as a person. that might fall to bone of this. so try to think whether it is your wish, experience, routine or your activity for survival.

Darkness usually represents being in a place of spiritual blindness. Tunnel represents a pathway you are taking in life. Also, red light is associated with demonic activity and warfare. Voices are from demonic forces which are trying to work out a plan against you. Be careful.

This sounds to me like an experience during the hypnagogic state which occurs between being awake and asleep. During this state you can hear voices, experience visual and auditory sensations and might feel sleep paralysis. It is also very conducive to psychic experiences and we are very "open" at this time.

You are at a somewhat difficult place in your life. You have some fears that people are talking about you but your can't hear what they are saying. You need real friends in your life that you can share your thoughts and feelings with and then you can hear what they are concerned about, too and you will not feel so alone.
