Seventh-day Adventists are Christians who believe in Salvation by grace because of Christ's sacrifice for us. We believe that out of love for and loyalty to Christ and what He has done for us that we will want to be His disciples and follow His example.

The two most obvious areas of difference between Seventh-day Adventist sand other Christians are signified by our name.

(1) We observe the the 7th day of the week (Saturday) as Sabbath like Christ and his apostles (See Luke 4:16 and Acts 17:2 for example); and

(2) We also believe that Christ will return (this is where the term Adventist come from) for all those who love Him (Christians) and that we will live with him forever.

I am a Seventh Day Adventis and the Seventh Day Adventist is the Remnant Church. This statement is too broad to discuss in this site. But all i can say is our doctrines are all bible based.

Attend a Sabbath service on saturday morning and talk to a minister and you will be enlightened.

God Bless!!!

I went to school with a family that's Seventh Day Adventist and I only know a few little things from what they told me. Their sabath begins at sunset on Friday and they cannot go out for anything. Their sabath ends at sunrise on Saturday and they go to their church service. Other than that they have the same believes that Christians do.

There's a few primary beliefs. It all primarily revolves around the seven-day thing. Like the earth was created in six days and God rested on the seventh. And we should observe the Sabbath. In their opinion, Saturday is a non-negotiable day of rest. If you do anything on Saturday or worship on Sunday you are pretty much the antichrist.

The other main thing has to do with the end times. They believe in a day = 1,000 years and we've got somewhere around 6,000 years since Adam and Eve or the beginning of recorded history. They believe that the end - or the seventh day - is pretty close to being upon us. The first guy had one thing right, though. There is definately a lot of legalism involved too.

I am Catholic and I just want to say that Adventists are not some cult or something. These are legit Christians, very beautiful people, peaceful and kind. They seem to me to reflect a true desire to live the way Jesus taught and be an example to the world of Christ's love. Where I live, they run the big hospital, and I have found peace there during some trying times. I know many people and families who are adventists.

They have their sabbath the same as the Jewish sabbath (Friday night through Saturday).

I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist.

There is way too much to say about our church. If you want an organized explanation, go to the source:

I am some what familiar with their beliefs. Here are a few of them.

They believe in salvation by grace through faith but also believe that Christians are still under the obligation of keeping the 4th commandment. Beyond that they also believe that the foods described as unclean in the old testament are still considered as such. Here is their home website if you are looking to learn more.
