The US would never kill anyone because the US is so good. It's just a coincidence that the Iraqis are dying at a great rate while the Americans are helping them. It's just a coincidence that the "insurgents" are killing Iraqis while the "most powerful nation on earth" is RIGHT THERE. Americans can never be bad.

The ignorance of the left often defies description. The "insurgents" are terrorists. They are killers, murdering in the name of a so-called religion which teaches that they must kill anyone who refuses to accept Islam and Mohammed. The fact that they are killing Iraquis is far from a "coincidence" as you are pleased to call it. It is an attempt on their part to intimidate Iraqis who will not adhere to their sub-human acts and cause. You know, the same cause which the left considers far more legitimate than it does the actions of the United States and its military.
Yes, the "most powerful nation on earth" is indeed "right there", preventing the wholesale slaughter of Iraqis by the terrorists whose ranks the citizens of Iraq refuse to join.
Prior to the US coming to Iraq, Saddam slaughtered countless Iraqis each year. Remarkable that I don't recall the left attacking Saddam for his brutality. Maybe I just missed it. Isn't it strange that the left is more than ready to attack it's own military while giving a true despot a pass. Yep, the American left. True patriots and not a hypocrite among them.

I don't think we can tell from here. The media is against the war so whatever happens they blame us first. The Iraqis killing each other blame us because we are there and available(would they be doing it if we left?). I'll take the word of our soldiers and marines over all the others.

These people kill each other if America is there or not...
why did they hang Saddam and his henchmen? After
all, should they die 'for the cause'...they go to heaven to
lay with all those virgins waiting on them across the void
and into the after-life...wonder what happens when their
tally of virgins expire..does heaven end and they have to
put up with an eternity of nagging worn out old hags?

Its called kill or be killed, and we usually consider self defense, maybe if the Iraqis learned to help themselves we could leave. Imagine how many more US soldiers we could have trained in the time we have been spending trying to teach Iraq how to secure their own country.

I would guess 95%+ of Iraqi's dieing are killed by other Iraqi's/ Muslims. It's not our fault your uncivilized people can't act right. We're trying to help them, but you can only do so much. They have to WANT to stop acting like woman and children murdering barbarians...

You do realize more Iraqis have been killed by their own people than by our military? They are so barbaric in their fighting and they don't care who they take with them. Our military try to reduce the number of civilian casualties, but they are inevitable. These suicide bombers target areas where civilians will be for more deaths.
