OK, why would you make him a CD of YOUR favorite songs and not HIS? Unless of course you both like the same exact music.
The stuffed dog for a 14 year old boy is kind of silly. I don't know too many kids this age (boys) who are into stuffed animals.
If you are creative----draw him something, write him a poem, a song, give him a picture of yourself

How old are you?
I personally hate mixed CDs, and the ones my ex boyfriend made me all got thrown in the garbage...especially since most of the CDs contained "his" favorite music instead of mine.
As far as cards go, you can't really go wrong- as long as thats not the ONLY present.
Stuffed animals, hmm I have a lot of those some where...oh yeah, stuffed in my closet collecting dust.
Try something else hun.

14 seems so long ago! (I'm 26). The cd is a very nice thing :) Always nice to have something personal as a gift... and The stuffed dog is typical. Sounds good... maybe a shirt on the next go-round of gift giving.
smiles!

dont know about the stuffed dog. How about a CD of His favorite songs? Its the gesture that counts, not the gift.

It depends. Shouldn't it be a CD of HIS favorite songs? Does he like stuffed animals? Will the card make him laugh?
For a 14 year old guy, I would've been more apt to get him something he was specifically into, like a sports item, music item, movie item, art item, etc.

I think it's a great idea. It's something personal that you took time to make, maybe add some of his favourite songs to it as well. You could buy him something, but you're not gauranteed that he will like it, but who can hate on a homemade gift like this? Even if he doesn't like it, he'll be happy with the effort you put into it. But now you set high standards for him. Wait and see what he does for your birthday!

Sounds like some good gifts for a 14 year old. You're too young to have a job or anything like that so he shouldn't really expect much more. It's the thought that counts anyway.

Oh, no, not you fav songs !!! It's HIS bday, and seriously, I think he's too old for a stuffed dog. I don't mean to get you down, but your present is more suitable for a girl.

oook.
im sorry, but what makes you think that he'd like a cd with songs that YOU like...?
guys dont really appreciate stuffed animals either...
unless they MEAN something, and if they're absolutely in love with you.
and a couple of months doesn't really seem like you guys would be.
