And his parents?? Should they be rewarded for breaking USA immigration laws?
What kind of message does this send?? IT sends the message all over the world, that sneaking into USA is OK.
Then how will YOU support the billions of illegals that will crash the borders??
Just because you know one case where the person is nice, does not mean all the illegal gang members and illegals in our prisons are wonderful.
USA must establish laws and enforce them for ALL illegal aliens--good and bad, which they have started doing on a small scale.
It's MY country and Americans come FIRST.

It is unfortunate for your friend that his parents chose to bring him up outside the law, and that our country didn't get around to deporting them (and him) in a more timely manner. This sort of tragedy is the inevitable result of lax enforcement, and just one of many reasons that we should be serious about enforcing and rationalizing our immigration laws.
From a purely pragmatic PoV, though, nothing could be better for this country than to have your friend wandering about Mexico, explaining how he was thrown out - if America has the conviction to deport someone as sympathetic as that, and it gets around, the number of Mexicans thinking that going north is a great idea is bound to be impacted...

That is the case for many illegals in the USA. Some people didn't have a choice to come here. They were raised here just like any other American, but the only difference between them and any other citizen is a piece of paper! A piece of paper shouldn't hold you back from your dreams!

So. . .
What you are saying is if someone has been stealing cars for 5 years or so, and that is all they know, and they get caught by the cops, they should be allowed to continue? I mean, they have no other marketable skill, and it is all they know. So what if they are BREAKING THE LAWS of this nation! Laws are nothing but "suggestions", right?
I am sorry for your friend, but I think he needs to realize that at some point, it was his choice to remain here illegally instead of going through some sort of process to become legal. And his parents are to blame for this as well. I don't think that anyone should be rewarded for breaking the laws - we don't give drugs to dealers when they are arrested. We certainly should not give amnesty and legalize anyone that is here illegally. Criminal is criminal.

there is a system, use it, what if this guy had been here for more than five years but while he was here he raped and murdered women. Or sent all the money made here back home and didn't pay taxes yet is still allowed to vote, buy a house, drive and in short, enjoy all the rights you enjoy. Bottom line: kick them all out and shut the ******* door. I realize this would be insensitive, oh well, then I'm insensitive, but as a person who regularly defends my country and the US citizens' right to free speech, i feel it is time I used mine.

I understand you and I agree but the problem with this country is the fact that all of the negativity is unchecked facts and small picture views. Supposedly it will cost you money for people to come to this country and live off of the welfare. Truth is you need a valid social security number to get benefits. Then they say that the people who come here will make it worse for those here. Again they are doing the same thing that americans forefathers did some time back. So if you ask me if a person who was brought here as a child to give them a shot at a better future, to be sent back to a country they have no clue about. Then I am so against that. Ignore all the ignorant comments you are sure to recieve. God bless. from a Proud Mexican.

unfortunately the operative word in your question is ILLEGAL, not immigration. I don't think anyone is against people coming here legally to make a better life for themselves. I think it is the unchecked flood of illegal aliens that put a huge drain on our public resources while giving so very little in return that people are against.
It has nothing to do with race, or prejudice or dislike. It's about economics: we simply can't afford to give them free health care and educations in exchange for nothing. We as citizens get NOTHING for the taxes we have to pay to support them. The small business owners who exploit these people reap the benefits. Not me!

Sorry but it sux to be him. If we let everyone who has been in this country for over 5 years stay we'd soon be overrun with immigrants. Tell him GET OUT and don't come back unless he's got a visa
