To predict the future global warming effects, several greenhouse gas emission scenarios were developed and fed into computer models.
They project for the next century that, without specific policy changes:
* global mean temperature should increase by between 1.4 and 5.8°C (2.5 to 10°F).
* the Northern Hemisphere cover should decrease further, but the Antarctic ice sheet should increase.
* the sea level should rise by between 9 and 88 cm (3.5" to 35").
* other changes should occur, including an increase in some extreme weather events.
After 2100, human induced global warming effects is projected to persist for many centuries.
The sea level should continue rising for thousands of years after the climate has been stabilized.
What climate changes are projected for future centuries?

Continues like this? Well where did it begin? Whats the average temperature of the planet? Not over the last 200 years but rather 2,000,000 years or maybe more. Where in history does the planet climate shift match the one we are having now. What were the results of that shift. Find this and you'll have your project.
I apologize but your not going to get a very good answer for this question because it is too political. The planet 50 years from now will be as it is now. Politically charged by some issue that is not real.
The planet has been hotter than this and much cooler. People are just getting caught up in their own God complex to think that they can unwittingly affect the environment by driving to work. And then there are those who are truly caught up in themselves because they think they can affect the evnviroment by driving a hybrid.

At the rate that the earths population is growing you can bet that pollution does as well, maybe even faster. So, keeping that in mind for 50years from now I don't think it looks too good. At the rate that the polar caps are melting they will most likely be almost gone. Our weather will be catastropic!!! To make a long story short, the bible already predicts this!!! Katrina, 50 yrs later will seem so small of an incodent. Because of the weather and its effects it will bring many hardships to every nation. Fires, floods, drought, famine, disease,& distruction!!! The cost of food will be extremely high because, humans & animals need crops to live. Even if you dont eat anything but meat, the cow that it comes from has to have its feed to make it to your plate. With everything being so unaffordable, people will take to crime out of necessity resulting in looting, riots,& murder. Our own destruction is eventually inevitable even if not a single nuclear war was to happen. Nations that govern with greed rather than knowledge & wisdom will fall the fastest. If we all can work together & do our part, we may still have a chance to change our destiny if only we can change the many in denile...

First, let's define Global Warming or Climate Change, or whatever other name people use to confuse the issue, as excess energy in the biosphere. Now let's determine how much.
I haven't told anyone the scary math in a while so here goes. All of these numbers are defined constants or are from reliable sources:
1. There are 326,000,000 cubic miles of water on this planet
2. 1 calorie is defined as the amount of energy necessary to raise 1 cc of water 1 degC
3. 1 MegaTon of TNT = 10^15 calories
4. By requesting the information from the NOAA library I found out that the average yield of all the atomic bombs ever exploded was 1 MegaTon (yield dropped significantly as delivery systems, i.e. rocket guidance systems, improved)
So:
326,000,000mi^3 X (5280 ft/mi X 12 in/ft X 2.54 cm/in)^3 X 1calorie/cc of H2O/ degC
______________________________________________
10^15 cc/MTon of TNT
=
" A one degC rise in the temperature of the oceans is the equivalent energy to 1.3 BILLION one MegaTon atom bombs. That has already happened and is being expressed as more severe weather. The temperature is projected to rise 5 degC in the next 50 years. That is the equivalent of one atomic bomb for every man, woman and child alive on the planet today."

There are already some changes happening because of global warming. Sea level is rising and some animals are already moving to new homes. It’s already too late to stop global warming completely.
If global warming gets worse, as scientists expect, there may be some kinds of plants and animals that become extinct (disappear completely) because they can’t move to new homes. There may be more storms and floods. Sea level may rise so much that people have to move away from the coasts. Some areas may become too dry for farming

Predictions show huge coastal areas will be under water, including parts of NYC. There will likely be famine as areas in Africa become more arid. Other areas will be warm enough to grow more crops, but with the massive human migrations from coastal areas, farm land may be scarce.
Switching to ethanol actually increases the predicted food shortages, since corn may be used for fuel instead of food.
There will also be more frequent and more severe storms.
Scary.....time to act is now.

in case you desire to obtain supply money for climate examine, do you think of which you will get a cheque in case you're saying," i desire the supply, as i think of that i will practice that the figures that the present paradigm is predicated upon are incorrect" ? the super environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. there remains no shown causative link between the quantity of Co2 in the ambience, and an strengthen in international temperatures. The WWWF photos of the polar bears swimming have been taken in the Arctic summer; whilst the ice cap in part melts, as they could no longer get as much as image in the wintry climate. The ice grow to be too thick! The East-Anglian uni examine figures. "Oh! The figures do no longer tournament our expectancies. Oh properly. shop quiet. because of the fact all of us understand that we are astounding." whilst the theory, and the religion is extra substantial than squarely dealing with the valid doubts of particularly some non supply-supported scientists, technology has been superceded by using religious zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully stated." I pray thee, in the bowels of Christ, evaluate that thou mayest be incorrect."

what will happen is that the polar bears will be extinct, many places on earth will be flooded due to melting, the ocean currents will change, possibly creating ice age, or if not an ice age, then alot of places will become so hot that it will be impossible to live there. Also, there will be many more diseases from the warmth, and more parasites (mosquitos).
I think i covered most of it.

It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
