no, there are muscles that bring your eyes back to center.
you have to hold them crosseyed, if you relax them they go right back to normal.
saying theyl get stuck that way is just a way for moms to keep their kids from looking stupid in front of people.

Nope! In fact, my daughter goes cross-eyed because she's farsighted and needs to cross her eyes to focus. She wears glasses to correct it, and when she wears her glasses, her eyes are straight. So even though she crosses her eyes whenever her glasses aren't on, as soon as she puts on her glasses, they straighten out.

nope (i am pre-optometry), but the muscles in your eyes will get very fatigued after doing this for an extremely long time. the result is that you will lose control of your eyes and risk having eyes move about independent of each other.
