Creationism means accepting God's infallible word as fact. It is based on pure logic. If an infallible being says something, we know that it is true. And we know that God is infallible. Therefore everything he says in the Bible is true, including that the world was created in six literal days.
The word of Man is not infallible and cannot be put ahead of God's word.

Nope, I don't. I also don't think observations of how the world began have anything to do with proving or disproving the existence of God so I think the whole debate is pretty theologically worthless. But, just for the sake of argument: Can you present one piece of evidence/factual observable data that your scientific theories for the beginning of the universe were not initiated by a higher being? Edit: And you are right to say that evolution has merit, but the limitation of science is that it can only observe, it can't state purpose and can rarely state cause.

A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena. It originates from or is supported by experimental evidence. In this sense, a theory is a systematic and formalized expression of all previous observations which is predictive, logical and testable.
Creationism....um.....uh.....theory?
A fable is a brief, succinct story, in prose or verse, that features animals, plants, inanimate objects, or forces of nature which are anthropomorphized (given human qualities), and that illustrates a moral lesson (a "moral"), which may at the end be expressed explicitly in a pithy maxim.
Maybe Creationism is a fable?

"Geology shows that fossils are of different ages. Paleontology shows a fossil sequence, the list of species representing changes through time. Taxonomy shows biological relationships among species. Evolution is the explanation that threads it all together. Creationism is the practice of sqeezing one's eyes shut and wailing, 'DOES NOT!'"
