Kids have different tastes than we do. Every adult has different tastes as well, we all have things we really like and things we really cannot stand. Just offer what everyone else eats but make sure there is always at least one thing offered your child will eat. For example, my boys 2 and 4, do not like tacos, I know this so I would NEVER serve tacos for dinner and say eat it or go hungry.......how mean is that?? I have things I don't eat and I would never force myself to eat them. Same goes for my husband, he hates tuna fish, would I ever make tuna sandwiches for dinner and expect him to eat them???? NO!!! Then why do people do this to their kids?? Do not short order cook, that is for sure, but just make sure you serve a wide variety at each meal and that one or two things are things you know he will eat. I usually serve the main course plus 2 veggies and 2 fruits and bread and butter. That way if they really don't like the main course I still know they are getting enough of other things. If they like it, they will eat it......Good Luck, you will get through this and before you know it her palate will expand. Just give it time and NEVER force her to eat, and please do not make her go hungry, that is plain mean!!! If they are hungry and they like it they will eat it!!!

the only factor i understand to offer infants is issues like pediasure. i'm effective you have possibly tried that by using now. in the mean time formerly the appointment with the professional i might proceed to feed her whilst she is hungry and connect healthful food. it must be she purely has an extremely severe metabolism or maybe she is particularly energetic, or a mixture of the two. My youngest dropped way down on weight whilst he began strolling early at 8-9 months. Hes nonetheless somewhat small for his age, yet completely healthful. If the appointment with the professional exhibits she is nice, then it must be the metabolism/interest point. solid luck!

Try cooking ground beef, chicken or turkey and give him bite-size crumbles. Or give him chicken-noodle soup and add frozen veggies (corn, peas, carrots, etc.) while you're heating it.
Most 1 year-olds love spaghetti! You could also try tuna noodle casserole, mashed yams, squash, etc.
Hang in there, and do what they had to do 100 years ago: whatever you eat, he eats. It will very likely take several tries.

We never had picky eaters, because we never allowed picky eating.
My son is 8 months and eats whatever we're having for dinner. Night before last it was grilled chicken and potatoes, salad veggies, and pumpkin pie, last night it was fried squash zuccini and onions and peppers over rice, tonight it was ham and sweet potatoes.
If he wont eat what you give him, just let him go without until he's hungry. He wont die between meals, even if all he has bit a couple glasses of milk. Eventually he will take whats offered.

Feed him exactly what you are eating. If he's hungry he will eat. You are just continuing to make him a picky eater, which I promise you will regret later in life. He will not starve himself and will learn to like different foods if you don't give in to his demands.
